Testimonials

The training that Michael Strong and Fed Training facilitate is excellent. I highly recommend their workshops. I have utilized/scheduled, Fed Training Workshops for the past 14 years. Recently, they held workshops in Montana Area Office and two for Eastern Colorado. They even held a workshop for us in Bismarck, ND in February. I receive very positive feedback from all the employees that attend their workshop. Please take good notes. If you haven't, don't put off your estate planning, take their advise and start the planning immediately! Enjoy the workshop, you will come away with valuable information.

"I attended the 2-day virtual FERS Retirement Class offered by FedTraining, and I was not quite sure what to expect. I was extremely impressed with the logistics of how the class was run. A few days prior to training, I received a full set of slides for the class with a notes section by each slide which was fabulous! The class was taught by 2 instructors which kept things moving at an appropriate pace; while one instructor taught, the other answered questions in the chat. Both instructors were extremely knowledgeable about the federal retirement process & benefits and were able to answer every question asked. The agenda covered all Federal Benefits and most scenarios possible; however, at the very beginning of class, they asked questions to determine what segments didn't apply to anyone in the class; this allowed us to skip those sections and focus more time in areas we had the most concerns. I think all the students felt more comfortable and confident moving towards retirement after this class. The instructors even provided their contact information so that we could reach out later with any additional questions that arose. I would highly recommend this training to all Federal employees."

"Thankfully, I attended FedTraining in 2021. It was the most comprehensive and easy to understand federal retirement training I've attended in my 30+ year federal career. The training helped focus me on key aspects of the retirement process I needed to understand. As I approach retirement, I'm much more prepared than I would have been otherwise. Thank you FedTraining!"

David S.

"The class is very comprehensive and the instructors are extremely knowledgeable. No sales pitches or wasted time, just 2 days of valuable information. I have taken several classes like this in my career, and this is hands down the best one out there. I would highly recommend it to every federal employee. Well worth the time and money!"

Tim L.
Bureau of Land Management

I used my agency’s Financial Services Planning Services reimbursement benefit to take the virtual course.  So glad I did as half the cost of the course was covered by the benefit but more importantly, I learned invaluable information to help make my financial planning a success.  The instructors took time to answer any questions the students had, and the pace of the course was just fast enough to cover many important topics.  I had questions following the course and Michael and his team were more than happy to provide further support. We liked their customer service approach and perspective so much we became clients. Great course and definitely worth your time and money.

Michelle M.

"FedTraining's provided truly invaluable information, and the fact that there was no sales pitch was a refreshing change compared to many other federal training programs I've attended."
